We are committed to providing your family with the safest and softest organic cotton baby clothing, home textiles, and accessories.

Our journey began in 2008 while caring for our three-week-old nephew who had developed a serious skin rash on his neck. To our surprise it was the ink from his bodysuit’s tag-less label that was irritating his sensitive skin. Babies have much thinner and fragile skin, making them more vulnerable to chemicals and toxins in products.

Even clothing made of organic cotton, a seemingly safe and pure natural fiber, may contain a potential irritant or harmful ingredient due to certain processing and finishing treatments.

This led us to form Opurna.

Opurna uses only certified organic naturally coloured cotton that is grown without synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Our cotton is manufactured without toxic bleaches and dyes, so the natural colour doesn’t fade but actually deepens with each wash. Naturally coloured cotton is also noticeably softer, making it ideal for babies.
